You can use this package freely, distribute it and modify it without informing the author. _________________________ What is FlexibleLayout? _________________________ FlexibleLayout is layout manager. When designing a graphical interface in Java, most people use a layout manager to rule the disposal of components in the container area. Popular built-in Java layout managers are FlowLayout, Border- Layout, GridLayout and GridbagLayout. Sometimes, the layout manager of a container (that can be an applet, a frame, a panel or another container component) is set to null; this way, components can be positionned with absolute coordinates. I've experienced GUI designers working this way. However, FlexibleLayout is a far better alternative in this case. FlexibleLayout features include: - absolute and scalable layout of components - container's insets aware - tiny footprint in memory - free source code available _______________ Learn more... _______________ e-mail: denis@poboxes.com internet: http://www.chez.com/denisb/java
